The Kiwanis Indiana Balloon Festival took place this weekend for the seventh year in a row at the Monroe County Fairgrounds.
Generations of people lined the streets of downtown Bloomington on Aug. 31, to celebrate the LGBTQ community. Bloomington Pridefest 2019 featured vendor booths, drag shows and support from organizations such as Free Mom Hugs.
The 2019 Little 500 season ended with Teter Cycling winning the women's race and Cutters winning the men's race for the second year in a row.

Teter finished first in this year's women's Little 500. The team has not won since 2011. It won by less than a second.
The First Nations Educational and Cultural Center organized the eighth annual Indiana University Traditional Powwow on April 6 in Dunn Meadow. The event celebrated the native heritage of indigenous peoples.
