The Grunwald Gallery of Art opened their first in-person exhibit of the school year Aug. 27, featuring 47 current, visiting and emeritus Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design faculty.

IU Summer Theatre’s July season includes a performance of the musical “Closer Than Ever” from July 18-31 and two audio plays, according to the IUST website.
The Bloomington Gallery Walk, featuring nine participating galleries, took place July 9. The gallery walk covered a 1-mile stretch from IU Cook Center through Downtown Bloomington.
“Chisel”, an IU student-made dance film, received an award for “Best Performances” in the Black and White Film Festival hosted by Wild Sound, according to an Instagram post.
Bloomington’s By Hand Gallery will display an “In Celebration of Limestone: Quarries and Carvers” exhibit in partnership with the Indiana Limestone Symposium from June 4-July 31. The gallery features work from 12 artists who are supporters of the ILS, according to the gallery’s press release.
