In 1978, Ernie wakes Bert up in the middle of the night to ask him a question in the form of a heartfelt song. “Do you like me? Am I okay? Do you like me? If you do, please say.” Bert continues the song and confirms that he does indeed like Ernie, but he wants to go to sleep. Ernie tells Bert that he likes him too. "Yes, I like you. That is right, I like you," and that he is ready to go back to bed.

"Be More Chill," a musical based on a book by Ned Vizzini, is getting an off-Broadway debut. The show follows a character with anxiety who takes a pill in order to fit in and seem more cool. It exists in a new wave of popular musicals featuring mentally ill characters, such as "Dear Evan Hansen," which follows in the footsteps of Pulitzer Prize-winning "Next to Normal." With these shows and other forms of popular media representing people with mental illness, it is time society reanalyze the way mental illnesses are treated in the media.

During Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the days after, many journalists, politicians and citizens remember his words and share them, whether it be through public speeches, articles, art or social media posts. While most of these sentiments are quite sincere, many are extremely hypocritical and lead to the whitewashing of King and his legacy.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York Cityhas recently changed its admission policy, now charging a $25 entrance fee for out of state visitors. Before, the policy allowed visitors to pay whatever they were able, no matter where they were from. Art museums, especially the Met, should be public and accessible to anyone, not just those who are able to pay the steep admission price.
