The Indiana Daily Student is always interested in confidential tips, documentation and other materials that will help our journalists keep power accountable. While you can reach out to reporters or editors individually, here are centralized ways to securely send information our way:

If you are, we have several options:
idsnews@protonmail.com: Messages sent through ProtonMail are encrypted and cannot be read by the company like those sent with other email providers. Subject lines are not encrypted. It’s useful if you’re trying to stay anonymous but could still be tracked through other means.
Mailing: For secure tips, we suggest mailing through a public mailbox. If you’re concerned about security, please do not include any identifying information, but please do include ways we can verify information. Please address to the Indiana Daily Student at 601 E.
