Mitch Rice holds a friend's parrot, named Charlie Byrd on Saturday at Lotus in the Park at The Waldron, Hill and Buskirk Park. The bird is named for the musician with the same name, and spent the day dancing along to the live music. The bird's owner takes the bird everywhere he goes and can often be seen around Bloomington.
