The biennial week-long workshop has attracted 1,000 law officials to guide approximatekly 2,000 attendees through exercises, seminars and team competitions pertaining to topics within law enforcement. "We're trying to give kids first-hand experience what it's like to be in that career, so when they're ready to make a commitment to come to; a university or post-secondary education or training, they've got a little bit of, 'You know I really think I'd like to do that as a career, '" Marty Walsh, national director of the sponsoring organization Learning for Life, said.
