Jim Halvorson makes a bowl during a "22nd Annual Soup Bowl" event Sunday at the Monroe County Convention Center. Halvorson began to make pots and bowls in 1970 after graduating Valparaiso University. He taught a ceramic class at Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis for 20 years. He retired teaching 2 years ago, but still makes pots and bowls. He provides his works to By Hand Gallery and Brown County Caraft Gallery, Nashville. Tae-Gyun Kim and Tae-Gyun Kim
