Dario Franchitti of Target Chip Ganassi Racing waits in Gasoline Alley to begin his "fast nine" qualification run for the pole position Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Franchitti was clocking some of the fastest speeds of the day, when his car began to slow down and then came to a stop during his fourth lap. It was reported that the car ran out of fuel. Franchitti's teammate Scott Dixon also ran out of fuel as he pulled into pit lane after managing to finish his "fast nine" run. Courtney Deckard
