Isabel Planton, an assistant librarian at the Lilly Library, talks about the original manuscript of "Slaughterhouse-Five." The idea for the book partly originates from when the author, Kurt Vonnegut, was in the U.S. Army and experienced the bombing of Dresden, Germany, while held as a prisoner of war in World War II.
