The Kirkwood Observatory, located just east of Indiana Avenue and Fourth Street, held its first open house hours of the summer Wednesday night. The observatory holds open hours for viewing from 10 to 11:30 p.m. every Wednesday, weather permitting. The events are free, and no reservations are necessary. Jeff LaFave
