Mickey Fearn speaks at noon on Monday at the IMU in State Room East. Fearn had worked with the National Park Service for 46 years, focusing primarily on outreach, policy, and programming for groups under-represented in parks and recreation. Fearn concluded the talk with a discussion on the impact of nature and suggested that prolonged teaching of neighborhood ecology may be the long-term solution to bring nature into the lives of minority groups.
