Rumpke Mountain Boys; The Bluebird

'Trashgrass' is the term given to these four boys' pastiche of bluegrass and heavy garage jam. Be skeptical, and then take a look at one of the band's videos and prepare yourself for amazement. Banjos, mandolins, acoustics, and ominous voices are all fair game for Rumoke's palette, as is any genre or song fit for performance. "No genre of music [remains] untouched" boasts the band's website Bio, and judging from the band's music, it's as solid as any promise can be. What separates these fellows from most is that the music may be touched, but it is never ravaged.
