There's a strange anomaly that exists the funk/R&B music of these undead master musicians. Generally when an act employs as much spectacle as linen-wrapped and face-painted trumpeters and guitarists the sound is likely to suffer. Yet the Mummies exist completely both as fabulous personas and damn good musicians out for fun; their shows are known for their thump and for salacious gyrating in the faces of patrons.
