Marmoset, Throwing Stars, and Pravada each have a decent following in Bloomington, and the three Indiana band's show at The Bishop Wednesday will most likely be filled to the brim with faithful fans.

The Indy-based band, Pravada, which includes former members of Margot and the Nuclear So and So's will kick everything off with their easy-going pop sounds, which are sure to induce crowd-swaying. Closely following will be Bloomington's own Throwing Stars.

Though the music will remain popish with a slight rock additive, a switch in gender inspiration will be revealed as female lead vocalist Una Winterman takes the mic. However, the experience of other four members also reflects in Throwing Star's overall sound, allowing them to be a band of many inspirations. Playing songs off of their recent work Bluebird Full of Fire, released earlier this year, Throwing Star will be a great addition to the night's line-up.

Headlining the evening will be the highly anticipated Marmoset with their British-influenced, yet Midwest set. After a decade of music making, the band released their third LP Tea Tornado on record label Joyful Noise in 2009. Including singles "Picnic" and "Run Away Teri," which is only just over a minute long, the LP is a mixture of modern and classic. However, whether they are reflecting from their British-rock inspirations or adding their own homegrown flare their music stays simplistic which makes it the perfect soundtrack for toe-tapping.

The night with the three Indiana-born bands and a crowd full of fans can only bring good vibrations. It should not be missed.
