IU beat USI 83-68 Saturday night at Assembly Hall. Here are some key stats and some statistics leaders from the game.

-IU outscored USI by 16 at the free throw line. The Hoosiers were 18-31 (58.1 percent) while the Screaming Eagles were 2-7 (28.6 percent), including 0-5 in the second half.

-IU was +18 in the rebounding battle, bringing down 54 rebounds to USI's 36. The Hoosiers controlled the offensive glass by a 21-11 margin.

-Sophomore guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell scored 20 points and was 6-10 from beyond the 3-point line. Ferrell's previous career high for points was 19, and his previous career high for 3-point field goals in a game was three. Last year, he never attempted more than five in one game.

-Four players scored in double figures for IU: Ferrell (20), sophomore forward Jeremy Hollowell (13), freshman forward Troy Williams (10) and senior forward Will Sheehey (10).

-Williams recorded a double-double in his first collegiate game, adding 10 rebounds to his 10 points. He also led the team in blocks, with three.

-Vonleh led IU in rebounding with 12.

-IU shot 41.8 percent from the field during the game. USI shot 41.4 percent.

-IU shot 6-14 (42.9 percent) from the free throw line in the first half, but improved to 12-17 (70.6 percent) in the second half.

-IU and USI each had 13 assists on the night. IU's leader in the category was graduate student Evan Gordon, who had three.

-Outside of Ferrell, IU was 3-11 from behind the 3-point line.

-IU was whistled for 12 fouls, compared to USI's 23.

-IU had 17 turnovers, and forced USI into 16 turnovers.

-Sheehey and Ferrell were the only players to see more than 30 minutes, playing in 32 and 31 minutes, respectively.
