An Indiana University diver was recently named to USA Diving's 26-member Olympic Performance Squad.

Four-time USA Diving national champion in synchronized platform and senior Amy Cozad earned her spot on the squad after an annual review where her overall competition performance and dedication to daily workouts was evaluated.

Those who make the Olympic Performance Squad include divers who possess the skill and determination it takes to compete on the Olympic Team in the Olympic Games.

In 2012, Cozad was the Olympic alternate on the platform after her third-place finish at the Olympic Trials. Throughout her three-year membership on the National Team, Cozad has competed at the World University Games and the Pan American Games.

Not only did Cozad make the Olympic Performance Squad, but incoming freshman and most recent IU diving commit Jessica Parratto also clenched a spot on the team.

Parratto is coached by IU Coach John Wingfield.
