At the end of regulation, freshman point guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell missed a free throw that could have put the Georgetown Hoyas away. As it would happen, Ferrell would miss that free throw and Georgetown would force overtime.
The freshman didn't hang his head and rebounded in overtime by scoring seven points, including going 4-of-4 from the free throw line, to help lead the Hoosiers to a 82-72 victory over the Hoyas.
In this video, Yogi talks about his overtime performance, the Hoosiers' victory and what it means for IU to win the Progressive Legends Classic. Also, Ferrell talks about why he ranks this game ranks as the best game he has ever been a part of. (Spoiler Alert: the Hoosier faithful in attendance had a lot to do with it.)
