IU will be playing alongside Georgetown, UCLA and Georgia in the 2012 Legends Classic on November 19, 20 in the new Barclays Arena in Brooklyn. Per a release, tickets will go on sale in the near future.
In total, 12 teams will be competing in the fifth installment of the event with Georgetown, Indiana, UCLA, and Georgia hosting regional round games from Nov. 11-15. Those four host teams will then advance to the Championship Rounds in Barclays Arena.
Match-ups for the Championship Rounds, television details, and the entire bracket for the 2012 Legends Classic will be announced at a later date.
The Hoosiers are 1-1 against Georgetown all-time, with the last meeting being a win in 1979, 6-6 against UCLA with the last meeting being a loss in 2007, and the Hoosiers are 3-0 against Georgia with the last meeting being a win in 1976.
