According to Brian Snow of Scout.com, 2012 shooting guard Gary Harris has committed to Michigan State. This past weekend Harris took his official visit to East Lansing.
The No. 12 ranked player on Scout.com, Harris took his official visit to IU on Oct. 15 for Midnight Madness and was the top ranked uncommitted player in the state of Indiana. Last year, Harris averaged 18.6 points and 5.1 rebounds game for Hamilton Southeastern High School.
Currently, Harris and the HSE football team are in the regional portion of the Indiana High School State Football Playoffs.
With Harris' announcement, this should mark the close to the 2012 Class for IU with five commits. Tom Crean's class is ranked in the top five of the nation by almost every major recruiting outlet.
