In a series of different preseason lists and rankings from CBS Sports, junior forward Christian Watford checked in at No. 81 of the best 100 players in the nation.

Matt Norlander of CBS Sports had this to say about IU's leading scorer from last season:

"Watford's one of those guys I'm willing to bet will seem undervalued on this list by mid-February. We have him at 81 now, but he could turn into a top-60 player."

An interesting side note to Watford's ranking is that he is one spot ahead of North Carolina State forward C.J. Leslie. The two will get a chance to square off when IU travels to Raleigh, N.C. on November 30th to take part in the Big East/ACC Challenge.

The top 100 list included 13 freshman but did not include Cody Zeller.

Do you agree with Norlander's assessment of Watford that he will move up in the rankings?

Do you think Zeller should have cracked the top 100?
