Senior Jori Davis was chosen in today's WNBA Draft to play for the Indiana Fever.

Davis was the 33rd overall pick in the 15th Annual WNBA Draft. Davis is the first player in the Legette-Jack era to be drafted to the WNBA.

Davis her IU career with 1,586 points ranking her eight all-time on IU's career scoring list. She is only the sixth player in program history to record over 1,500 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists.

During the announcement Davis was in class proving once again the importance of academics in the women's basketball program.
