I hate doing to mock drafts and all of that, but since it's what everybody seems to enjoy, here are my thoughts on the four IU guys in the NFL Draft.

Tandon Doss

I think Doss will be a great pro. He has the hands, athleticism and versatility to fit in wherever he is drafted. To have an instant impact, however, he'd have to be picked by a team like the Colts or the Patriots who have an established quarterback. Doss will probably be a slot guy for his first few years in the league but, according to ESPN's Todd McShay, he could eventually become an outside receiver.

For whatever reason, I think Doss will slip a little bit in his draft. Teams are probably concerned with his health and, with a group of receivers remarkably similar in terms of talent to Doss, they might look elsewhere for a wideout.

Projection: Mid-third round

James Brewer

Like Terrance Turner said, "he's a big, big, big guy." Brewer's size might make him a target for some team, but he's still a little raw. McShay and Pro Football Weekly call him a two-year project. Still, I see him going off the board earlier than Doss.

Projection: Early-third round

Terrance Turner

This guy is going to be a pro -- I just know it. He's not an overwhelming athlete, he doesn't have great size and he's an average blocker. But Turner has all the intangibles. The work ethic. The attitude. The smarts.

In some ways, Turner reminds me of today's Hines Ward. Ward isn't exceptionally quick at this point in his career, but he finds ways to get open and he makes big catches. He's smart, he plays hard and he understands his game.

Turner may not be drafted this weekend, but he will make an NFL team.

Projection: Undrafted free agent

Ben Chappell

If he's the inconsistent quarterback we saw last season, he won't be drafted. To be fair, though, Chappell didn't have great protection or a running game. He had to do everything on his own.

From what I've heard, Chappell is taking this process seriously. He's dropped weight and looks stronger. If he's drafted by the right organization, he could be a solid backup and maybe start in the future.

Projection: Seventh round
