Sophomore Leslie Hureau and junior Evgeniya Vertesheva earned All-Big Ten honors Thursday after the Hoosiers beat Penn State 4-0 in their opening round match of the Big Ten Championships.

Hureau and Vertesheva won the honors for the second-straight year.

Hureau, the Hoosiers' No. 1 player, finished the regular season at 24-9 in singles and went 5-5 in conference play. The sophomore is ranked No. 57 in the nation.

Hureau also fills half of the No. 1 doubles position. Senior Myriam Sopel and Hureau are ranked nationally at No. 56.

Vertesheva, the Hoosiers' No. 2 player, compiled a 26-9 regular-season singles record and finished 8-2 in the Big Ten. She is ranked No. 114 in the country in singles. She also went 24-10 in regular-season doubles action with partner and freshman Kayla Fujimoto.

Fujimoto was also Indiana's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.
