First of all, Ball State has officially announced that the 2011-12 football opener with be played at Lucas Oil Stadium. That should be a fun one.
Also, it's a pretty big week(end) for former IU football players. The NFL combine is coming to Indianapolis beginning today with Tandon Doss, Terrance Turner and James Brewer participating.
I will be at Lucas Oil on Friday and Saturday and will keep you posted as to how the former Hoosiers are doing. I've talked to Tandon on several occasions over the last couple weeks and he seems to be doing well down in Florida. He's been training with former NFL quarterbacks Vinny Testaverde and Chris Weinke.
But Brewer is likely to be taken the highest of the three, so I will try to keep get you updated on what he's doing.
