As I sit here with Geoffrey Miller and Justin Albers in beautiful Camp Randall Stadium, the weather could not be worse for the Hoosiers.
The upper 40's temperatures and on and off rain does not play into the Hoosiers pass-only offense. Ben Chappell struggled with the windy conditions against Northwestern which is not a good sign for what he'll be dealing with today. That would be especially unfortunate for the Hoosiers if they were to fall behind early like they have done so often on the road this season.
This figures to be another big day for the Wisconsin running game headed by John Clay. These big Wisconsin backs have tortured the Hoosiers for years and today figures to be no different. Here's a little stat that might put today's ground game comparison into perspective.
The active Wisconsin running backs have combined for 29 touchdowns this season. The IU running backs have combined for three.
It's going to be a long day in Madison.
