Sophomore forward Christian Watford has 17 points as the IU men's basketball team leads Franklin College 46-24 after one half at Assembly Hall.
After Watford, the scoring is more evenly distributed, with sophomore guard Jordan Hulls and sophomore forward Derek Elston tied for the second-most points with five.
IU has forced 14 turnovers while having just 8 of their own. The Hoosiers have turned their turnovers into 17 points, compared Franklin College's four. IU has owned the inside thus far, holding a 24-16 points in the paint advantage, a 16-10 rebounding advantage and registering 3 blocks.
IU coach Tom Crean trotted out Hulls, sophomore Maurice Creek and freshman Victor Oladipo at guards and Watford and junior Tom Pritchard at forward as the team's starters.
