After defeating then No. 13 Michigan in three sets and Michigan State in five sets, the IU volleyball earned 33 votes for their play.
The Hoosiers are at 17-5, 5-5 in the conference, which match the total wins from last year and they still have 10 games left in this season.
The 33 votes puts them No. 30 in the nation, after receiving no votes last week.
With IU earning votes, the Big Ten conference has five in the top-25 rankings and two other team recieving votes.
Also, senior middle blocker Ashley Benson won Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, for the second week in a row.
This weekend Benson averaged 1.8 blocks per set.
This marks her fifth career Big Ten weekly honor, including her third of the defensive variety.
