ESPN today updated its rankings for the class of 2014. Newest IU basketball commit Trey Lyles is now the No. 1 ranked player in the class. Fellow Hoosier commit, James Blackmon Jr., is No. 7 overall.
While both players are young, they obviously are very skilled and could have a major impact for IU when they arrive in Bloomington.
Are you okay with players committing this early? Are you worried about other schools trying to persuade them to look elsewhere despite the commitment? Do you believe IU should be offering kids who haven't even played in a high school game?
