Ten months later, the Buckeye was voted Big Ten's Preseason Player of the Year - for the second year in a row.

Michigan State's Greg Jones was selected by the Big Ten as Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, also for the second year in a row.

Pryor finished 167 of 295 for 2,094 yards, 18 touchdowns and 779 yards rushing. The 2010 Rose Bowl Game named him the Offensive Most Valuable Player. The junior has led his team to two Big Ten Championships and two Bowl Championship Series games.

Jones ended last season with 11.8 tackes per game. His nine sacks slotted him fifth in the conference and his 154 tackles left him seventh in Spartan's history.
