Think Tom Crean has too many guards on his roster already? He would gladly take one more.
B.J. Young, a 6-4 guard from Missouri, cut his list to five teams with IU at the top, according to The Indianapolis Star. Young is ranked No. 33 in the Class of 2011 by Rivals.com and is also considering Arkansas, Marquette, Illinois State and Baylor.
If Young commits to the Hoosiers, he will be the top recruit picked up during Crean's tenure. Christian Watford and Maurice Creek were No. 41 and No. 56 in the 2009 class, respectively.
Young would join Creek, Jordan Hulls, Matt Roth, Verdell Jones III, Will Sheehey and Victor Oladipo as guards on the IU roster.
