Freshman Kelsie Ahbe was one of 13 jumpers to advance through the qualifying round of the pole vault at the IAAF World Jr. Championships. Ahbe will be joined by fellow American Shade Weygandt in the finalsAhbe cleared 3.85m (12-7.5) on her first attempt to earn her spot in the finals. In addition to the two Americans, eight other countries will be represented in the Saturday final. The finals will begin at 2:20 p.m. ET on Saturday.
