Tennis player Lachlan Ferguson has been named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America third team, and is the first IU men's tennis player to ever earn that honor.

IU men's tennis coach Randy Bloemendaal had this to say of Ferguson's acheivements:

"I am very proud of Lachlan and his continued success in the classroom," Bloemendaal said. "I would like to thank him for earning such a distinguished academic honor for Indiana, the IU Athletics, and the men's tennis team.

Ferguson graduated as a Fitness Specialist major and with a 3.86 GPA.
