Wendi Robinson and Sarah Pease have both earned ESPN the Magazine Academic awards. Robinson was named to the All-District first team, while Pease was named to the second team. Robinson is also a nominee for Academic All-America honors.
Coach Ron Helmer had this to say, per press release, about their success:
It is always great when our kids earn awards like this because it comes from hard work both on the track and in the classroom, and that is what being a student-athlete is all about."
