Playing on its home golf course, the IU women's golf team will take a four shot lead into Sunday's third and final round at the Indiana Invitational.
The Hoosiers are four shots clear of Iowa State, with four teams separated by six shots or less from IU.
Senior Laura Nochta and freshman Pamela Burneski are in a tie for third place individually, both at one over par for the two rounds.
Senior Kellye Belcher bounced back from an opening round 79 in the morning, with a 73 in the afternoon and is in 20th place individually.
Freshman Jacqueline Yanch lowered her opening round score by five shots (79-74) and is in 28th place.
One stroker higher than Yanch is junior Lauren Geiseckie in 32nd place.
The IU women's golf team opened up Saturday's two rounds with a 304 in the morning before shooting a tournament low 291 in the afternoon.
A team victory tomorrow would be the first win for the Hoosiers since capturing the Mountain View Intercollegiate in 2008.
