Top of the morning to all. I settled in a little while ago along press row at Conseco Fieldhouse for the 100th State Finals of Indiana boys high school basketball. I'll be here all day and will have updates as often as possible. It's a Pacer-esque environment here for the 1A game which pits Bowman Academy (Gary, Ind.) against Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, Ind.).

Bruce Weber is here courtside scouting DeJuan Marrero, a 6'5'' sophomore forward from Bowman. Men's and women's golf writer, Kevin Bowen, and I touched on our radio show earlier this week how important we thought it was for Tom Crean to be a visible head all day given the plethora of potential prospects. I haven't seen him yet, but would bet on him being here for the 2A game, as Park Tudor's Kevin Ferrell has been offered by both Illinois and IU.

Bowman currently leads Barr-Reeve 25-20 with 2:29 remaining in the first half. Marrero has tallied for three points, two rebounds and two assists thus far.
