Freshman Jackie Yanch birdied her final three holes in Tuesday's final round to tie the 18-hole school record, and lead the Hoosiers to a 6th place finish at the Onion Creek Challenge in Austin, Texas.

The Hoosiers closed with a final round 283, which is the second lowest 18-hole round in school history.

Senior Laura Nochta led the Hoosiers for the fourth consecutive tournament with a 15th place finish and a 214 total.

Fellow senior Kellye Belcher was one shot higher than Nochta in 18th place.

Yanch's school record 67 moved up her up the individual leaderboard into 32nd place after opening with rounds of 75 and 76.

Freshman Pam Burneski closed out the fall season with a 73rd place finish in her fifth tournament of the season.

Freshman Kate Coons shot one-over par 71 in the second round and closed the week three shots higher than Burneski in 82nd place.

The Onion Creek Challenge marked the end to the fall season for the Hoosiers with finishes of 3rd, 8th, 7th, 7th and 6th in their five tournaments.

The Hoosiers will return to competition on Jan. 31 when they head out to Phoenix to take on Wisconsin in the Westlake Cup.
