With Thanksgiving fast approaching, here are some numbers to crunch on over the holiday break.
Senior Alex Martin leads the team with a 72.35 average in 6 events and is ranked No. 91 individually in the nation.
Sophomore David Erdy has a 73.18 average in 6 events.
Sophomore Chase Wright has a 74.94 average in 6 events.
Freshman Corey Ziedonis has a 75.09 average in 4 events.
Junior Ren Han has a 76.60 average in 2 events.
Freshman Brant Peaper has a 77.11 average in 3 events.
Freshman Michael McGee has a 78.89 average in 3 events.
Sophomore Andrew Frandsen has an 86 average in 1 event.
The men's golf team currently has a record of 33-48-2 in its six fall events. They are ranked No. 73 in the nation and have the No. 33 hardest strength of schedule according to Golfweek. Five Big Ten teams are ranked ahead of the Hoosiers (No. 10 Illinois, No. 36 Michigan, No. 41 Iowa, No. 61 Northwestern and No. 72 Penn St.).
The Hoosiers will return to competition on Feb. 12-13 when they defend their 2009 Big Ten Match Play Championship in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
