The team split up, with power forwards working their mid-range game and the rest of the team fighting through contact with the pads again under the rim to get an offensive putback.
Christian Watford looked a lot stronger in this drill. He has a nose for where the ball is going to come off.
Bawa Muniru and Steve Gambles also impressed. Gambles earned praise from assistant coach Roshown McLeod for his work, fighting through the pounding of the pads to clean up the mess.
Jeremiah Rivers and Jordan Hulls are scrappy on the offensive glass. Expect them to get some boards - yes, even 6-foot-tall Hulls - despite their size disadvantages under the hoop.
