The IU volleyball team lost in straight sets to No. 1 Penn State Friday.

The Nittany Lions (21-0, 9-0) won their 85th consecutive match by scores of 25-19, 25-13 and 25-17.

Penn State senior outside hitter Megan Hodge led the way offensively, killing 16 balls at a .538 clip. All-American setter Alisha Glass contributed 33 assists for the Nittany Lions.

For the Hoosiers (14-9, 3-6), senior outside hitter Kelsey Hall was the most efficient attacker with seven kills at a .385 percentage. Hall also led the team in digs with 12.

Next for IU is a road contest at Ohio State (16-6, 4-5) at 7 p.m. today.
