Alex Mann won Big Ten defensive player of the week for her valiant effort in the Northwestern game on Saturday Oct. 17th.
Mann had four saves on the day and let no goals scored by sophomore midfielder Chelsea Armstrong, who leads the league in goals, shots, and assists.
The Hoosiers upset the No. 16 Wildcats 2-1 on Saturday.
This is Mann's third of her career and second of the season, with one on Aug. 31st against American and Richmond.
The Hoosiers finish their Big Ten home play with Penn State on Friday at 3 p.m.
