IU field hockey defeats Penn State 4-1 and improves their record to 10-5 and 3-2 in the Big Ten Conference.
PSU got off to an early lead with a goal by redshirt-freshman forward Hannah Allison off a penalty corner at the 1oth minute.
Three minutes later, freshman forward Shareyna Chang scored off a pass from sophomore forward Corey Brautigam.
Before halftime began, the No. 20 Hoosiers scored two more goals, one from senior midfielder Meg O'Connell and one from redshirt-freshman forward Morgan Fleetwood.
At halftime IU had a 3-1 lead.
Fleetwood scored her second goal of the game from an assist by junior forward Katie Griswold.
The Hoosiers play their last home game of the season against Pacific (3-8, 2-3 in the NorPac conference) on Sunday for senior day.
