Just posted this to the IDS site, but for those of you that only check the Basketblog, I thought I should warn you. From Friday forward, all of our sports news will be on this new blog, although the old posts will still be available here for a time. They will not carry over to the new blog. It's been fun, but it's time for a change. And that change is for the better.
With that, let's talk about the new blog, Hoosier Hype!
The IDS will launch its new sports blog covering all IU sports, called Hoosier Hype, on Friday.
The blog will cover every IU sport and have separate categories for each one, ranging from men's basketball to women's rowing. The goal of the new blog system is to give Hoosier fans access to all IU sports coverage in one place at one time.
There will be pages on the site for multimedia, such as Live Blogs, discussion, Twitter feeds, bios of all the writers and other new features not available on the old blogroll.
If you have any questions about the new system, comments or concerns, please post them in the comment section.
