There is a lot of snow outside.

Which is why the IDS basketball crew will not be traveling to Evanston tonight. We tried to get a ride in the H-T helicopter, but they said it was already full (Korman's ego is huge). Luckily, the IDS is still well represented in the Chicago area.

Last night, Tom Crean and Fred Glass made an appearance at Joe's Bar (a Hoosier-friendly watering hole) on Weed Street. There to capture the evening with his prose was Ryan Corazza, IDS Hall of Fame member and Inside The Hall contributor. Here is a snippet of Corazza's recap:

"This is Tom Crean. Always on the move. Always working. Always shaking hands. Always signing autographs. He's a bit like our new president in that way, except Hoosier Nation is considerably smaller than America, though there's about equal struggle in each right now."

Be sure to read the story and check back with the basketblog tonight for coverage (one way or another) of tonight's game. Tip-off is 8:30 p.m.
