Tonight was the first Inside IU Women's Basketball radio show with IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack. If you missed it you can catch it every Monday (expect game days and holidays) at 6:30p.m. ET live from Coaches Bar & Grill downtown or on the IU radio network.

Coach Jack talked about a lot of things, and i can post quotes later, but this story was very interesting...

Coach Jack walked into the men's practice today, and before she could take a seat, men's basketball coach Tom Crean stopped practice, blew his whistle, and said GIVE IT UP FOR THE CHAMPIONS.

Crean referring to the teams' win in the Hilton Concord Classic last week in Moraga, California.

Here is what Legette-Jack said about the experience

"I thought that was a cool thing and It brought tears to my eyes a little bit to see men's basketball practice that have a major test ahead of them against Wake Forest stop practice and congratulate us on our success. That's what Hoosiers are all about. We are about family, and I believe Tom and I are going to connect with things well and raise two basketball programs."

I thought this was a really cool thing for Crean to do and the women's team deserves some recognition. They are a solid team this year, have now won three in a row, have an All-American candidate in senior Whitney Thomas, and are well on their way to a successful season.
