Hey folks,
Just got back from our weekly Tom Crean press conference, and I have a couple of minor injury updates I thought I'd pass along:
--Brett Finkelmeier's nose was bandaged today when he met the media. Finkelmeier said he broke the nose, an injury which required surgery, when he was hit in the nose trying to position for a rebound against Bemidji State. Finkelmeier will wear a protective mask like Daniel Moore's, and he said trainer Tim Garl and coaches will keep him out of practice today. He should be good to go this weekend. --Kyle Taber said he didn't notice anything major in terms of knee pain after Tuesday's game. After taking Wednesday off, he said he felt a bit "sore" after going through a workout this morning, but again, no real problems to report. Crean said Taber shouldn't be on a minutes restriction Saturday like he was Tuesday, when he played the maximum recommended 15 minutes.
That's it for now, but we'll have plenty for you as recruiting progresses, and there will be plenty of coverage in the paper tomorrow. Take it easy.
