"First is just really exciting to begin the season. I tell you these ladies have been working really hard amongst each other running and jumping and in that weight room. One of the reason's they came here was to play basketball, so it was kind of to get our dust off us and get out their and play. It's great to see the unity of the team. I think it's really the team we wanted and envisioned, a team that any given day anyone else could step up. So we are excited about the possibilities of our future."
Sophomore Haylie Lynn on her performance
"I think we were all just really excited to get out their. We've been practicing so long through preseason and working hard. I think I just had a lot of energy coming out and I was able to hit three 3's right of the bat, which was great. "We were just all really excited to get out their and play, and my teammates did a great job getting me open"
