Kyrie Irving, the No. 27 high school junior in the nation, according to Rivals.com, visited IU this weekend. The four-star recruit from New Jersey is a stud and would be a major pickup for any school that could land him.

Crean currently has two scholarship availabilities (Dumes, Jobe) to work with for 2010, though last Thursday he said he is behind in 2010 recruiting, certainly on account of assembling a team for this year and landing a top recruiting class for next year (and campaigning to students to buy tickets). IU is likely seeking one guard and one big man for 2010, and Irving could certainly be that guard for Crean.

Here is an impressive video of Irving. If you don't want to watch for four minutes. Watch him hit a game-winner over two guys at the 1:22 mark, and proceed from there to see him shine on both sides of the ball.
