For those of you going to the football game Saturday (and for those of you "celebrating" homecoming in the tailgating fields), the men's basketball team will hold a scrimmage open to the public inside Assembly Hall Saturday afternoon.
The football game against Northwestern begins at noon and the scrimmage is tentatively scheduled for 4 p.m. or 30 minutes after the football game.
"I believe this is something we would like to do each year if Homecoming falls on the right weekend and practice has started," IU coach Tom Crean said. "We really appreciated the opportunity to play in front of our great fans at Hoosier Hysteria and we want to take every opportunity to give our guys the experience of playing in Assembly Hall in front of the most loyal fans in the country"
