It has been eight years since Myles Brand and the powers-that-be fired Bob Knight from Indiana University.

On Wednesday, Knight came to Indianapolis to participate in an intimate Q&A at the Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center. Although the event wasn't open to the media, the Indy Star's Bob Kravitz sat in on the discussion as an audience member.

In his column today, Kravitz said if he could have asked Knight one question last night it would have been: would you come back to IU to be honored?

On Wednesday, the Star's Terry Hutchens asked Crean if he could see the Hoosiers honoring The General one day:

"I would certainly hope so. As far as I'm concerned, there are three things in place here. Number one, he knows how much I respect him. Number two, I hope he's seeing how much I respect his former players. And number three, no matter what anybody feels, he's one of the greatest that has ever done it at any level, in any sport, at any time. With that being said, I'm a huge fan.''

My question to you is, has eight years been long enough? Would you like to see Bob Knight return to Assembly Hall to be properly honored?
