1. Derrick Favors, C - IU not in his recently named top ten schools, but Hoosiers could get a look from the Atlanta Celtics (AAU) star as a result of the hiring of former Celtics' coach Roshown McLeod.
15. Dominic Cheek, SF - McLeod's hiring certainly will get IU a visit from Cheek, a New Jersey native who says IU's new assistant is "like a brother figure" to him. Cheek says he is "definitely" visiting IU. Tom Crean has been recruiting him since his days at Marquette and may have a good relationship with Cheek's prep coach, the legendary Bob Hurley, Sr. Hurley was the high school coach of former Marquette signee Tyshawn Taylor who got out of his national letter of intent upon Crean's departure from Marquette in the spring.
38. Aaric Murray, C -Murray doesn't have IU among his favorites right now, but there's been at least some mention of interest.
43. Roger Franklin, SF - IU once appeared to be Franklin's No. 1 choice, but right now it's certain that the Hoosiers are one of his five finalists.
45. (+52) Maurice Creek, SG - IU commit solidified himself as a major prospect with his performance in Las Vegas last last month.
72. Christian Watford, SF - Watford, Crean's No. 1 target for 2009, will be at the Elite Camp and take an unofficial visit this weekend with his family.
80. (+12) Jordan Hulls, PG - IU commit wasn't a highly regarded recruit early in the year, but his play in spring and summer AAU events has helped him become the No. 9 point guard in his class. Also worth mentioning, Hulls' AAU squad really struggled this summer in games in which the Bloomington South star didn't play.
86. Angus Brandt, C - The Hoosiers have been mentioned in virtually every article this past month about the big Aussie. Brandt is also expected to be in Bloomington this weekend.
90. (-9) Derek Elston, PF - Long-time IU commit has successfully been recovering from surgery this summer, but his stock has hardly diminished.
